Every year we grow an abundance of brassicas at Fern Verrow - they are the vegetables that sustain us through the winter months - rich in irony goodness and delicious if cooked well. This sauerkraut is made using white drum head cabbage as well as red napa cabbage, flavoured with caraway - we consider it an essential condiment on everyone’s table!
