One of the nicest ways to eat radishes is with unsalted butter, great bread and a good pinch of salt. They can also be thinly sliced and tossed into salads or lightly pickled and paired with cured meats or added to a sandwich to add crunch and heat. 

We love poaching them in chicken stock with a generous knob of butter until they are just tender to the bite - this is a lovely accompaniment to any poultry dish.
